| Since we officially launched Cyberbohemia in May 1998 we've been honored with several "site of the week" and horoable mentions from all around the globe. This makes us very happy and we thank all of you who have supported our efforts. Here is a sampling of the kudos:

Sweaty Spice
We want Sweaty to be modeled after Mikkel Aaland, the award-winning
photographer and digital media expert who spent three years touring the
world in search of the perfect sweat. From Finnish saunas to Russian banias
to Turkish hammans, Mikkel displays several of his steamy photographs in
CyberBohemia, a captivating online portfolio of sweatbath venues. Aaland
also worked as a county fair portrait photographer and spent several years
in Japan studying with a Shinto priest--so we're also thinking maybe
Ferriswheel Spice, or Sword of Heaven Spice. Ideas?

We Could Do a Whole Issue on this Site... Maybe
Cyberbohemia explores a range of issues, from Web site design and image manipulation (The Bridge) to photography (The Golden Alley) to writing (The Castle). You can read excerpts from the author's manuscript "The Sword of Heaven" as well as info from the out-of-print "Sweat", a look at saunas around the world. One of the most vivid pages features a photographic collection of county fairs in the late '70s, with subject and atmosphere stunningly well documented.
